Charles Chilcutt

Mr. Charles Chilcutt, 75 of Murray, KY, died Sunday, September 04, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Chilcutt was born in Henry Co. TN on October 24, 1935 to the late Porter Chilcutt and Rubye Maynard Chilcutt. Mr. Chilcutt retired from the City of Murray after 22 years as Administrative Supervisor. Mr. Chilcutt was a Murray High School graduate and a member of the Memorial Baptist Church.
Mr. Chilcutt is survived by his wife Barbara Davis Chilcutt of Murray, whom were married on March 16, 1957 in Corinth, MS; two daughters, Debbie Smith and husband Joel of Murray and Kelly Chilcutt and friend Bob English of Springfield, TN; one sister, Shirley Smith and husband Billy of Kirksey, KY; one granddaughter, Katie Dempsey and husband Nick of Kirksey, KY; one grandson, Drew Smith of Murray; one great granddaughter, Elisa Dempsey of Kirksey; as well as one nephew, Billy Dale Smith of Kirksey and one niece, Bobbie Smith Bryant of Louisville, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Dr. Jim Simmons will officiate. Burial to follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the funeral home.
