Charles Mason McCuiston

Mr. Charles Mason McCuiston, age 84, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray.

Charles was born on January 5, 1938, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Kelly Brooks McCuiston and Audrey Evans McCuiston. He was the owner and operator of McCuiston Masonry and Backhoe Service and was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice McCuiston; one grandson, Kyle Ward; as well as one son-in-law, Mark "Moochie" Herndon.

Survivors include two daughters, Shan Herndon of Murray, Kentucky and Sheila Ward and husband Mitch of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Margarie Riley of Murray, Kentucky; five grandchildren including Gabe Ward of Murray, Kentucky; two stepdaughters, LaDon Haley Berlin of Evansville, Indiana and Kristi Hopkins and husband Chris of Murray, Kentucky; as well as one stepson, Tim Graham of Benton, Kentucky.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Dale Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 3, 2022, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
