Mr. Charles "Chuck" W. Palmer, age 69, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Friday, September 11, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Palmer was born on February 8, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Martin Palmer and Marguerite Snyder Palmer. He was a retired Police Sergeant with the Dayton, Ohio Police Department after twenty-eight years of service, and also in the United States Marine Corps Unit HMM-161 during the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge # 44.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Don Palmer.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Palmer, to whom he was married on March 4, 1989 in Dayton, Ohio; two daughters, Lisa Presley and husband Benjamin of Ostrander, Ohio, Mandy Curtis, and husband Anthony, of Hardin, Kentucky; two sons, Tony Palmer and wife Stephanie, of Greenville, Ohio and Terry McGraw and wife Julie, of Frisco, Texas; one sister, Alice Bebout of Austin, Texas; ten grandchildren, Elaine Palmer, Matthew Presley, Madison Presley, Tyler Oliver, Holden Palmer, Victoria Palmer, Abby McGraw, Reagan McGraw, Dylan Sturgill and Lily Alexander.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
