Charles "Puffy" Parker

Mr. Charles M. "Puffy" Parker, 70, of Hazel, Kentucky died Monday, September 30, 2013 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mr. Parker was born in Kirksey, Kentucky on April 24, 1943 to the late Tollie Parker and Dovie Mutine (Lockhart) Parker. Mr. Parker worked at the 641 Club in Puryear, Tennessee as the bartender for over 30 years.
In addition to his parents Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his wife, Judith (Erwin) Parker.
Mr. Parker is survived by his faithful friend and companion Inez Lyon of Hazel, Kentucky; an honorary daughter, Brenda Lyon of Murray; two sons, Charles A. Parker of Hazel and Benjamin Parker and his wife Shannon N. Parker of Hazel; honorary granddaughter, Lily Angel Lyon of Murray; two sisters in law, Mary Frank Paschall and Diane Erwin both of Murray; brother in law, Billy M. Erwin of Hazel; and a cousin, Debbie Parker of Kirksey.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale officiating. Burial will follow in the South Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
