Mr. Charles E. Windsor, 85, of Murray, Kentucky died Thursday, February 20, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Windsor was born in Hazel, Kentucky on October 3, 1928 to the late Tillman and Opal Bivens Windsor. Mr. Windsor retired from Ryan Milk in Murray as a truck driver. Mr. Windsor was a Marine Veteran and a member of the Salem Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents Mr. Windsor was preceded in death by one sister, Lovis Manning; and by two brothers, Bill Windsor and James Windsor.
Mr. Windsor is survived by his wife, Martha Windsor of Murray, to whom he married on March 3, 1951 in Corinth, Mississippi; two daughters, Vicki Hosford of Murray and Lori Callihan and husband Larry of Murray; one son, Randy Windsor and wife Barbara of Murray; two sisters, Claudean Epps and husband Walter of Puryear, Tennessee and Linda Jones and husband Jerry of Murray; three brothers, Glen Windsor of Murray, Buddy Manning and wife Mary of Buchanan, Tennessee and Keith Manning and wife Kathy of Murray; six grandchildren, Heather Dunn and husband Wade, Mitzi Adams and husband Jimmy, Susan Patterson and husband Michael, Michael Windsor and wife Sonya, Mitchell Windsor and wife Sharon and Ashley Callihan; and eight great grandchildren, Morgan Adams, Breanna Patterson, Elizabeth Patterson, Garrett Dunn, Brett Dunn, Blake Windsor, Kacie Windsor and Kayden Windsor.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, February 23, 2014 in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Phillip Bazzell will officiate. Visitation will be held 4:00 – 8:00 Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
