Chuck Shuffett

Mr. Chuck Shuffett age 87, of Murray, Kentucky, died Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.
Mr. Shuffett was born April 22, 1930 in Greensburg, Kentucky to the late Ray Shuffett and Esther Mitchell Shuffett. In addition to his parents, Mr. Shuffett was preceded in death by one daughter, Diane Villanova; two sisters, Margie Skaggs, and Elizabeth Moore; brother, Billy Shuffett.
Mr. Shuffett was the former owner and operator of WNBS and WAAW. He was the voice of Murray State Basketball from 1957-1975. Chuck was inducted into the Murray State University "Hall of Distinction" in February of 2016. Chuck and Margaret "Mimi" also published the Montage magazine from 1993 till 2013.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret "Mimi" Shuffett of Murray, Kentucky they married August 24, 1947; three daughters, Jan Zobel and husband Gary of Phoenix, Arizona, Nan Bentley of Madison, Alabama, and Becky Spann and husband Mick of Murray, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Anne-Marie Klukan, Chas Villanova, Brad Bentley, Mark Bentley, Tyler Roberts, Jason Spann and Aloria Cronover; five great grandchildren, Daniel Klukan, Dylan Klukan, Austin Villanova, Kaitlyn Villanova and Olivia Bentley.
No public services will be held.
