Clara Ruth Beach

Mrs. Clara Ruth Story Beach, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky, died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at her home.
She was a retired employee of Fisher Price (Mattel); she was a member of the Grace Baptist Church; she had taught Sunday school for years at the Murray Church of the Nazarene.
She was born in Portland, Tennessee, November 16, 1935 to the late Ray Story Sr. and Cora Mabelle Story. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by two sons, Donnie Beach and Eddie Beach; two sisters, Dorothy Manning and Barbara Parker; four brothers, Hoyt Story, Junior Story, Kenneth Story and Hugh Story.
Mrs. Story is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Terry and husband Shayne of Lowes, Kentucky and Sharon Beach Crouch of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Ruby Williams of Murray, Kentucky and Betty June Sykes of Alabama; one brother, Ira Lee Story and wife Bonnie of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Rev. Kerry Lambert will officiate with entombment to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 for 5:00 – 8:00 at the funeral home.
