Clara Nell Darnell

Miss. Clara Nell Darnell, age 86, of Murray, Kentucky died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 2:05 a.m. at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

She was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ and the Adult Sunday School Class.

She was born April 13, 1927 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Rex and Ethel Edwards Darnell. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by one sister, Eurell Darnell; two brothers, Coy Darnell and Ralph D. Darnell.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Sue Darnell of Murray, Kentucky; two nieces, Carolyn Hargis and husband Gary of Tennessee, Linda Wright and husband Ron of Murray, Kentucky. Several great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews also survive and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 1, 2014 in the chapel of the J.H Churchill Funeral Home. John Dale will officiate with burial to follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 11:00 am till service hour at the J.H. Churchill Funeral home
