Clifton "Cliff" Thomas Key

Mr. Clifton “Cliff” Thomas Key, age 69, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024, at his home.

Mr. Key was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 11, 1955, to the late James Key and Doris (Farris) Key. He was a retired sales engineer with Merwin-Stoltz Co. and was a tobacco farmer. Mr. Key was a member of the Journey Church and the Murray Masonic Lodge #105.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Melissa Denise Key.

Survivors include three daughters, Melissa Dodd and husband Nathan of Murray, Kentucky, Doris Lee Coppins of South Carolina, and Jennifer Collier and husband Camren of Texas; two sons, Eric Munson of Murray, Kentucky and Jacob Munson of Montana; two brothers, Jeff Key and Jimbo Key and wife Lisha both of Murray, Kentucky; as well six grandchildren, Abigail Dawson, Payton Dawson, Annabelle Key, Emily Coppins, Corey Collier, and Lillian Collier. 

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Matt Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
