Mr. Clifton Junior Pittman, age 80, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at his home.
Mr. Pittman was born on July 10, 1944, in Murray, Kentucky to the late Hubert Clifton Pittman and Blanche (Hendon) Pittman. Mr. Pittman worked at Tappan, was the owner and operator of Pittman Wheel Alignment, and after his retirement he worked for his son at Pittman Mobile Home Transit. He was a member of the Army Reserve and National Guard, the Murray Masonic Lodge #105 F. & A.M. and was of the Church of Christ faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Pittman was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Pittman; and by two brothers, Sammy and Danny Pittman.
Mr. Pittman is survived by his wife, Sheri (Outland) Pittman of Murray, Kentucky to whom he married on June 3, 1966, in Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Julie Bogard and husband Benji of Murray, Kentucky; one son, James Clifton “Cliff” Pittman and wife Ginger of Hazel, Kentucky; one sister, Diane Thomas; one brother, Benny Pittman and wife Cindy all of New Concord, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Tyler Pittman and wife Abby of Murray, Kentucky, Abby Hale and husband Matthew of Hazel, Kentucky, Sophia Bogard of Kapolei, Hawaii, and Ava Bogard of Murray, Kentucky; as well as three great grandchildren, Catherine Pittman and Cooper Pittman both of Murray, Kentucky, and Tara Lynn Hale of Hazel, Kentucky.
A public graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hicks Cemetery. John Dale will officiate, and burial will follow. There will be no public visitation.
