Clyde Ory Carter

Mr. Clyde Ory (Casey) Carter, 83, of Belleview, Florida formerly of Murray, Kentucky, died Monday, July 16, 2012 at his daughter's home in Tecumseh, Michigan. Mr. Carter was born in Lynn Grove, Kentucky on September 3, 1928 to the late Edward R. Carter and Idella Warren Carter. Mr. Carter retired from General Motors, was an Army WWII Veteran and was of Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his wife, Roxanna King Carter; and by two brothers, James Elmo Carter and Andy Duel Carter.
Mr. Carter is survived by four daughters, Veronica Riss and husband Mark of Murray, Teresa Tybinka and husband Ed of Whitmore Lake, Michigan, Cheryl Palmer and husband Garry of Tecumseh, Michigan, and Janice McDevitt and husband Dusty of Belleview, Florida; two sons, Dale Clyde Carter and wife Anne of Tampa, Florida and Casey Carter and wife Lisa of Alliance, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, Ray Elkins, Rita Allen, Karin Hardison all of Murray, Kentucky, Dale Jr., Jodie, Aurelia, Gale, Stephanie, Jessica, Katherine, Garry Paul, Rebecka, Elizabeth, Mandy and Joe; 20 great grandchildren, Steven, Rebekah, Rachel, Garrett, Landon, Bethany, Meleana, Blake, Jazzy, Torynn, Isaiah, Mia, Matt, Jonathan, Jacob, Elijah, Michael, Adella, Gabby and Corey; as well one great great grandchild, C.J.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Bazzell officiating. Burial to follow in the Salem Cemetery in Lynn Grove, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2012 at the funeral home.
