Connie Powell

            Mrs. Connie Powell, age 62, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away, Saturday, February 10, 2024, at her home. 

          Mrs. Powell was born on August 16, 1961, to the late Scotty Free and Beatrice (Henry) Free. She worked as a cook at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Free.

          Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey Powell of Murray, Kentucky; they married on September 25, 1981, in Benton, Kentucky; one sister, Shirley Bell of Murray, Kentucky; two brothers, James Free and Will Free and wife Diana both of Murray, Kentucky; as well as her faithful four-legged canine companion, Bear.

          There will be no public service or visitation held at this time.
