Cora "Libby" Mahan

Mrs. Cora Elizabeth "Libby" Mahan, age 93, of Murray, Kentucky died on Thursday, March 01, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. Mahan was born on May 25, 1924 in Cerulean, Kentucky to the late Matthew Wilson P'Pool and Callie Ethyl (Crowe) P'Pool.
Mrs. Mahan devoted her life to caring for her family and friends. She had a special gift for making each person she encountered feel as if they meant the world to her. Her relationship with the Lord and her strong faith was brightly reflected in her lifelong love and care for others. She was a member of the Cherry Corner Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mahan was preceded in death by her husband James Carl "Billy" Mahan, who died in 2001; one brother, Buddy P'Pool; and by one sister, Jean Gresham.
Mrs. Mahan is survived by one daughter, Ellen Dale and husband Bill of Murray, Kentucky; three sons, Joe "Skip" Ginn of Eddyville, Kentucky, Tim Ginn and wife Sonya of Cerulean, Kentucky and David Ginn and wife Becky of Cerulean, Kentucky; ten grandchildren, Shane Ginn and wife Lisa, Shannon Brown, Timmie Ginn, Ross Ginn, Sara Jane Arnett and husband Sam, Reed Ginn and wife Jeri, Callie Wells and husband Kent, Tatum Dale, Leighton Dale and Nolin Dale;18 great- grandchildren; as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Shawn Hanes officiating. Burial will follow in the Hicks Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 prior to the funeral service from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
