Corine Johnson

Mrs. Corine Johnson, age 87, of Murray, Kentucky died on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Batesville, Mississippi on January 30, 1932 to the late Fialo Fondren and Jessie (Lester) Fondren. Mrs. Johnson was a retired beautician.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Ike Johnson; and by one sister, Minnie Turner.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by one daughter, Sandra Johnson of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Otis Johnson and wife Debra of Augusta, Georgia and Issac Johnson of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Emma J. Lipscomb of Illinois; one brother, Vernon Fondren of Illinois; 20 grandchildren, Fred Johnson, Henry Johnson, Marquita Johnson, Bernard Cosey, Vernon Cosey, Starina Styles and husband Romondo, Shantasia Johnson, Marina Johnson, Otis Johnson, Jr., Jordyn Johnson, Jennifer Williams, Erica Johnson, Corey Johnson, Ike Haynes, Ieisha Henry, Marqueta Henry, Laurissa Johnson, Jackie, and Caden Carter; as well as 24 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Johnson's cremains will be taken back to her hometown of Batesville, Mississippi and released.
