Corine Pendleton Walker

Mrs. Corine Pendleton Walker, 84, of Murray, Kentucky died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.

Mrs. Walker was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky on December 8, 1928 to the late Clarence Pendleton and Lucy Hinton Pendleton. Mrs. Walker was a member of the West Fork Baptist Church and attended Kirksey Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Willard Walker; two sisters, Catherine Learned and Irene Simmons; four brothers, Hugh, Paul, Coy, and Johnny Pendleton.

Mrs. Walker is survived by one daughter, Nancy Tabers and husband Robert A. Tabers, Jr. of Murray; one son, Willard Allen Walker of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Martha Atwell and husband Rev. Bobby Atwell of Albany, Kentucky; three sister in laws, Dauphen McMahan and husband David of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Betty Pendleton of Lebanon, Kentucky and Mary Alice Pendleton of Louisville, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Robert A. Tabers, III of Kirksey, Kentucky, Russell A. Tabers and wife Cherishe of Kirksey, Regina Steward and husband Brian of Bainbridge, Georgia, Richard Tabers and wife Alicia of Almo, Kentucky, Allen Walker and wife Gloria of San Antonio, Texas, and Scott Walker and wife Christinia of San Antonio; sixteen great grandchildren, Ashley Tabers, Sara Tabers, Allison Tabers, Abbey Tabers, Audrey Tabers, Alexis Steward, Bryce Steward, Brianna Steward, Elijah Steward, Knox Tabers, Sara Darnell, Alex Quintero, Elaine Quintero, Scotty Walker, Jaiden Walker and Maddie Walker; as well as her special extended family, Sandy and Tim Talbert, Tiffany and Mike Ramirez and children, William and Stephanie Talbert and children all of San Antonio.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Brother Matthew Williams and Brother Curtis Rice officiating. Burial to follow in the West Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
