Daisy Baker

Mrs. Daisy Baker, age 96, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky

Mrs. Baker was born on January 29, 1927, in Cleveland, Texas to the late Lloyd and Lucinda Tanner Jenkins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Eastwood Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Baker; two sisters, Pauline Lester and Ailene Ingles; as well as brother, Lloyd Jenkins.

Survivors include four daughters, Carolyn Perry and husband Rick of Jackson, Tennessee, Cathi Slater and husband John of Nebraska City, Nebraska, Shirley Milzarek and husband Wayne of Memphis, Tennessee, and Linda Shelton of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Michael Baker and wife Tammy of Murray, Kentucky and John Baker, Jr. and wife Diana Lynn of Big Timber, Montana; 29 grandchildren; as well as several great and great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the Barnett Cemetery with Bro. Kevin Harris officiating. There will be no public visitation held.
