Dale Adams

Mr. Clayton Dale Adams, age 73, of Murray, Kentucky died at his home on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.

Mr. Adams was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on September 22, 1943. Mr. Adams was previously employed at Goodyear in Union City, Tennessee and Vanderbilt Chemical in Murray, Kentucky in the maintenance departments and before retiring he was a self-employed electrician. He was an Airforce veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the American Legion, Post #73 and he was of the Church of Christ faith.

Mr. Adams is preceded in death by his father, Clayton "Bill" Adams; one daughter, Nikki Morgan Adams; one son, Larry Dale Adams; one sister, Sue Ann Lax; and one brother, David Adams.

Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Eve Adams of Murray, Kentucky; his mother, Rachel Adams of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Shane Adams and wife Deborah of New Concord, Kentucky; two sisters, Mary Barrow and husband Hal of New Concord, Kentucky and Debbie Cagle and husband Doug of Puryear, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Jessica Bearsby, Brian Bearsby, Amanda Gregory and husband Will and Caleb E. Jones; as well as one great grandchild, Samantha Gregory.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Steven Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
