Mr. Dan Duncan, 38, of Dexter, KY, died Friday October 7, 2011 at the Murray- Calloway Co. Hospital after an extended illness.
Mr. Duncan was born in Indiana on February 28, 1973. Mr. Duncan was the owner and operator of Dan Duncan Tree Works and was a member of the Hardin Baptist Church.
Mr. Duncan is preceded in death by his mother, Doris Duncan, who died on February 28, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Duncan of Dexter, to whom he married on September 4, 1994; one daughter, Emily Duncan; two sons, Andrew and Sam Duncan all of Dexter; father, Prentice Duncan and wife Louritta ; one sister, Dina Duncan all of Almo, KY; and by his father and mother-in-law, Phil and Carol Farnum of Gilbertsville, KY.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Hardin Baptist Church in Hardin, KY with Bro. Ricky Cunningham and Rev. Brett Miles officiating. Burial to follow in the McDaniel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2011 at the Hardin Baptist Church.
