Dan Miller

Mr. Dan Miller, Loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, age 76 of the Lynn Grove Community, died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Born Nov. 15, 1935 in Calloway Co., Ky., to the late Burie W. and Ethel Rogers Miller. Mr. Miller was the owner and operator of Dan Miller Auction service for 33 years. He also had worked at general tire for 19 years, was a four term Magistrate for district 4 in Calloway Co., was a board member, and treasurer for Murray water district #3, and was a member, chair Deacon, and Sunday school director for Salem Baptist church.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Seay Miller of Murray, Ky., they married July 5, 1958 in Lynn Grove, Ky., three daughters, Dana Beane and husband Darrell of Murray, Ky., Sheri Paschall and husband Terry Don of Murray, Ky., Sandy Walker and husband Chris of Murray, Ky., seven sisters, Mary Rousseau of Arkansas, Martha Shumaker of Georgia, Lourell Smith and husband James of Kentucky, Ann Eaker of Kentucky, Emily Cunningham and husband Zane of Kentucky, Janice Adams and husband Bill of Kentucky, and Sonja Lineberry and husband George of Tennessee. One brother, Ferrell Miller of Murray, Ky., three grandchildren, Brittney Johnson and husband Clint of Murray, Ky., Lindsey Paschall of Murray, Ky., Zach Cunningham of Murray, Ky., two step grandchildren, Courtney and Chase Walker of Murray, KY., two great grandchildren, Trace and Luke Johnson of Murray, Ky., also several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded by his parents, two sisters, Evelyn Scott, Reba Fain, and brother, James Miller.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Rev's John Sheppard and Phillip Bazzell will officiate, and burial will follow in The Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
