Mr. Dan Parker, age 85, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at his home.

Mr. Parker was born on August 21, 1935, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Domus Parker and Opal Yarbrough Parker. He was an Army Veteran and owned and operated Dan Parker Masonry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Valentine Parker; as well as one grandson, Gayge Lane Parker.

Survivors include one daughter, Mitzi Parker Brummett and husband Bill of Hendersonville, Tennessee; one son, Cregg Parker of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Janice Allbritten of Murray, Kentucky; as well as one granddaughter, Emily Caroline Parker of Murray, Kentucky.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, April 16, 2021, at the Hicks Cemetery with John Dale officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., on Friday, April 16, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
