Danny Joe Burkeen

Mr. Danny Joe Burkeen, age 66, of Mayfield, Kentucky, died on, Thursday, October 29, 2020, at his home.

Mr. Burkeen was born on April 18, 1954, in Murray, Kentucky to the late Billy Joe Burkeen and Shirley Hill Burkeen. He was a farm laborer and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Emma Marie Burkeen and Lilly Dora Burkeen.

Survivors include three daughters, Cherie Morrow and husband P.J. of Paducah, Kentucky, Selina Guffy and husband Tim of Paducah, Kentucky, and Tracie Burkeen and Shane Bush of LaVergne, Tennessee; one son, Billy Burkeen of Paducah, Kentucky; one sister, Tonya Green and husband Don of Eastpointe, Michigan; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; as well as the mother of his children, Charolette Jones of Paducah, Kentucky.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at the Palestine Cemetery with Rev. Richard Burkeen officiating. There will be no public visitation held.
