Danny R. Hatcher

Mr. Danny R. Hatcher, 65 of Nashville, TN died on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the Vanderbilt Palliative Medicine Care Unit in Nashville.
Mr. Hatcher was born in Murray, KY on September 16, 1947 to the late William Otis Hatcher and Blanche (Vaughn) Hatcher. Mr. Hatcher, before his extended illness, was an archivist at the Country Music Hall of Fame. He also was an owner and operator of business's in the Murfreesboro, TN area and was a script writer for several television documentaries and for TNN.
Mr. Hatcher is survived by his wife, Ann (Chandler) Hatcher of Nashville, to whom he married on July 16, 1966 in Poole, KY; two daughters, Heather Hatcher DeMith of Nashville and Hillary Hatcher and partner Kim Hardenburgh of Franklin, TN; one sister, Pat Arteberry and husband Jerry of Grandview, IN; two grandchildren, Emerson Blake Hardenburgh Hatcher and William "Henry" Hardenburgh Hatcher both of Franklin, TN; as well as a large and loving extended family.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. David Cunningham officiating. Entombment will follow at a later date. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral hour (11:00 a.m.) at the funeral home.
