Danny Irvan Pittman

Mr. Danny Irvan Pittman Sr. age 66, of Murray, Kentucky, died Sunday, May 6, 2012, in New Concord, Kentucky in an automobile accident.
Mr. Pittman was born April 21, 1946 in Murray, Kentucky. He was a Deacon at the New Concord Church of Christ, and a 1971 graduate of Murray State University. He was a partner of Falwell and Pittman farms with his brother in law Grundy Falwell since 1973. Mr. Pittman was also an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Falwell Pittman of Murray, Ky., they married Aug. 2, 1968 at New Providence Church of Christ, mother, Blanche Hendon Pittman of New Concord, two sons, Van Pittman and wife Liz, of Murray, Grant Pittman of Charlotte, N.C., two sisters, Sharon Pittman and Diane Thomas both of New Concord, three brothers, Junior Pittman and wife Sheri, Sammy Pittman and wife Dora, and Benny Pittman and wife Cindy all of New Concord, three grandchildren, Savannah, Dakotah, and Cash Pittman all of Murray, also several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Pittman was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Pittman.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Glendale Road Church of Christ with John Dale and Steven Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Ivy Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
