Mr. Danny F. Taylor

Mr. Danny F. Taylor, age 81, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away, Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.

 Mr. Taylor was born on December 12, 1943, in Murray, Kentucky to the late John Frank Taylor and Dorothy McCallon Taylor. He worked as an independent car buyer for multiple dealers and was a member of the New Providence Baptist Church.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Eddie Taylor; as well as one stepdaughter, Katrina Koch.

 Survivors include the love of his life, Virginia Taylor of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Scott Taylor and wife Rachel of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Stacy Taylor of Columbia, Tennessee; one brother, Jimmie Taylor; three step daughters, Lori Murphy and husband Mike of Murray, Kentucky; Melissa “Missy” Thorn and husband Mikey of Murray, Kentucky, and Lesia Hansen and husband Tom of Danville, Kentucky; one step-son, Danny Koch and wife Jaime of Murray, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Madelyn Taylor of Raleigh, North Carolina; Lauren Holt and husband Blake of Benton, Kentucky, Laken Sieben and husband Cody of Benton, Kentucky, London Hendon of Fort Worth, Texas, Tricia Moody and husband Jay Clark of Murray, Kentucky, Sarah Taylor of Lima, Peru, and Matthew Taylor of Murray, Kentucky; seven step grandchildren, Sam Blalock and wife Lauran of Paducah, Kentucky, Sarah Parrish of Murray, Kentucky, Jude Holder of Lexington, Kentucky, Ewan Holder of Lexington, Kentucky, Stella Holder of Lexington, Kentucky, Finn Hansen of Danville, Kentucky, and Jaidan Koch of Murray, Kentucky; as well as five great-grandchildren. 

 A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Greg Wortham officiating. Burial will follow in the Hicks Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
