Darrell Hargrove

Mr. Darrell Hargrove, age 90, of Murray, Kentucky, died June 19, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Mr. Hargrove was born in Calloway County Kentucky on August 18, 1923 to the late John Lois Hargrove and Hattie Lee (Gibbs) Hargrove. Mr. Hargrove retired from the United States Postal service in Birmingham, Michigan. He was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ and was an Army veteran of WWII.
In addition to his parents Mr. Hargrove was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Hargrove, who died on December 22, 2013; three brothers, George Hargrove, Nat Hargrove and Gene Hargrove; and by one sister, Dorothy Hall.
Mr. Hargrove is survived by three sons, Joe Dale Hargrove and wife Dianne of Commerce Township, Michigan, Billy Rex Hargrove of Murray, Kentucky and Robert Lee Hargrove of Paducah, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Patricia Hargrove Armstrong, Carolyn Hargrove Constant, Sarah Hargrove and Jessica Hargrove; as well as two great grandchildren, Olivia Armstrong and Jackson Armstrong.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale and Jason Hart officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2014 at the funeral home.
