Darren Marshall

Mr. James Darren Marshall, age 48, of Almo, Kentucky died on Monday, September 12, 2016 at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

Mr. Marshall was born in Warren County, Kentucky on August 30, 1968. Mr. Marshall was an owner and operator of Murray Window and Door and a member of the Poplar Spring Baptist Church.

Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his father, William Robert "Bobby" Marshall; and step father, Keith Wilson.

Mr. Marshall is survived by his wife Penny Marshall of Almo, Kentucky, to whom he married on June 24, 1989 in Murray, Kentucky; mother, Kathy Wilson of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Brandon D. Elkins of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Angela Hopkins and husband Matt of Almo, Kentucky and Robin Conner and husband Brian of Benton, Kentucky; two brothers, Jeremy Marshall and wife Della of Almo, Kentucky and Nathan Marshall and wife Samantha of Hardin, Kentucky; step mother, Carla Marshall of Hardin, Kentucky; nieces, Jessica Bynum and Jeslyn, Candice Belcher and Keira, Ayla Conner and Charli Conner; nephews, Jerod Belcher and Hailee, Hailey and Kelsey, Josh Streetman, Eli Marshall, Tate Marshall and Blake Hopkins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Mike White and Jason Phillips officiating and eulogy by Brooke Winterrowd. A private burial will follow. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
