Mr. David Russell Hester

      Mr. David Russell Hester, age 61, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023, at Tri Star Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

          Mr. Hester was born on July 4, 1962, in Kirksey, Kentucky to the late Radford Hester and Dorothy May (Brewer) Lindsey. He was a United States Army Veteran.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Sammy Joe, Eugene, and Bobby Hester.

          Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean (Thompson) Hester; they married on December 3, 1982, in Murray, Kentucky; two daughters, Amanda George and husband Justin of Cheney, Washington and Lisa Clinton and husband Tony of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Andrew Hester and wife Lacy and Aidan Hester-Earles both of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters. Kathy Henson and husband Louie of Murray, Kentucky and Debbie VanLeer and husband John of Kevil, Kentucky; as well as nine grandchildren.

          There will be no public services held.
