David Waldrop

Mr. David J. Waldrop, 66, of Hazel, KY died Saturday, September 10, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Waldrop was born in Calloway Co., KY on March 5, 1945. He was a brick mason and was of Baptist faith; he also served in the National Guard.
Mr. Waldrop was preceded in death by his mother, Iva Nell Wilson Waldrop and by one sister, Mary Jan Waldrop Rudolph.
He is survived by his father, J.D. Waldrop of Hazel ; his wife, Sondra Waldrop of Hazel to whom he married on April 2, 1968; two daughters, Davida Bridges and husband Kenny of Murray and Buffy Hughes and husband Jamie of Mayfield, KY; as well as seven grandchildren, Denisha Webb and husband Trevor, Jordyn Bridges, Shania Bridges, Micah Hughes, Abigail Hughes, Hannah Hughes and Chloe Hughes.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Story's Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Jamie Hughes officiating. Burial to follow. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2011 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
