Mrs. Deborah Jean Cox, age 70, of Gilbertsville, Kentucky, died Friday, December 25, 2020 at her home.
Mrs. Cox was born January 18, 1950 in Murray, Kentucky to the late James Blanchard and Barbara Wolfe Blanchard. Deborah was a retired Correctional Officer with the Kentucky State Penitentiary in Eddyville, Kentucky. She earned an Associate Degree from Paducah Community College and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Alan Cox of Gilbertsville, Kentucky, they married February 14, 1998 in Gilbertsville, Kentucky; three daughters, Lori Hopkins and husband Kevin of Murray, Kentucky, Wendy Baker of Gilbertsville, Kentucky and Missy Baker-Blackwell of Maryland; one stepdaughter, Reagan Smith and Husband Terry of Cadiz, Kentucky; also, four grandchildren survive.
No public services will be held.
