Mr. Delmar "Dee" Jackson

Mr. Delmar “Dee” Jackson, age 85, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at his home.

Mr. Jackson was born in Hickman County, Kentucky on September 25, 1940, to the late Lee Elmo Jackson and Mary (Davison) Jackson. He retired from General Motors in La Grange, Illinois and was a United States Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Nye, Betty King, Alma Jones, and Peggy Baker; as well as three brothers, Jimmy Jackson, Harold Jackson, and Joe Jackson.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie (Johnson) Jackson of Murray, Kentucky; two daughters, Deena Jackson and Megan Haven and husband Michael all of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Debra (Jackson) Ray of Union City, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Austin Jackson, Dawson Haven, Tatumn Jackson, Addyson Haven, Tanner Adams, Takoda Adams, Grayson Haven, and Jennison Haven; as well as two great-grandchildren, Elias Jackson and Beckett Jackson.

Private family services will be held with entombment to be follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens.
