Delyghte Humphreys

Mrs. Delyghte "DEE" Humphreys, age 87, of Murray, Kentucky, died Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Benchmark Health Care of Puryear, in Puryear Tennessee.
Mrs. Humphreys was born September 17, 1927 in Calloway County, Kentucky, to the late Roy and Ruth Taylor Cooper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Humphreys, brother, James Wildy Cooper, sister, Mary Frances Dugger. She was a homemaker, and member of the First Baptist Church in Murray.
Survivors include a daughter, Laura Humphreys of Sterling Heights, Michigan, son, Stephen Humphreys and wife Candace of Murray, Kentucky, three grandchildren, Joshua and Sarah Humphreys both of Murray, and Dylan Potts of Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, Bro. Ed Smith will officiate, and burial will follow in the South Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, October 27, 2014 from 4-8 p.m., at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
