Dimple Lee Pratt

Mrs. Dimple Lee Pratt, age 84, of Murray, Kentucky, died Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.

Mrs. Pratt was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on December 28, 1933 to the late Thomas Benjamin Littleton and Mae Will (Hendrix) Littleton. Mrs. Pratt worked at Seven Seas Restaurant in Murray for 29 years as the head cook, was the caregiver for the late Dr. C.C. and Betty Lowry for over 50 years, and also was employed by the Murray Woman's Club House. Mrs. Pratt was a graduate of the Douglass High School and was a member of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pratt was preceded in death by her husband, William Jasper Pratt; one son, James David Capps; three sisters, Anita Kay Terry, Dolly Jean Bryant, and Ada Mae Perry; as well as numerous aunts and uncles.

Mrs. Pratt is survived by three daughters, Brenda Lee Capps of Murray, Kentucky, Clara Mae Bushrod and Daryl of Hazel, Kentucky, and Candy Porter of Paris, Tennessee; one sister, Lois Dunlap of Puryear, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Daryl Cole and wife Sherece of Murray, Kentucky, Jameion David Capps of Roswell, Georgia, Elizabeth Capps of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Mercedes Capps of Toledo, Ohio; three great grandchildren, Lewis Bell, Lyric Cole, and Levon Cole; and a host of nieces.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Kendrick and Rev. Jim Stahler officiating. Burial will follow in the Hazel City Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
