Dixie Scott Peeler

Mrs. Dixie Scott Peeler, 75, of Murray, KY, died Sunday, June 05, 2011 at 12:17a.m. at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.
Mrs. Peeler was born in Golden Pond, KY on May 23, 1936 to the late Alvin and Tempie Dixon Scott. Mrs. Peeler a homemaker and a member of the Grace Baptist Church, there a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Peeler was preceded in death by five brothers, Wilson Scott, Vernon Scott, Earl Scott, Willie Scott and Thomas Scott; also by one sister, Ava Nell Scott Ahart.
Mrs. Peeler is survived by her husband, Leland H. Peeler of Murray, married on November 26, 1960 in Metropolis, IL; one daughter, Gina Peeler of Hermitage, TN; one son, Randall Peeler of Murray; and by two sisters, Virginia Chandler of Murray and Nellar Cothran of La Porte , IN.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Brett Miles and John Dale officiating. Burial to follow in the McDaniel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the funeral home.
