Donald Crawford

Mr. Donald N. Crawford, age 92, of Lynn Grove, Kentucky, died Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

He was a member of the Lynn Grove United Methodist Church; He was the owner and operator of the Crawford Service Station in Lynn Grove for 57 years; He was a WWII Army Air Corp veteran stationed in the Philippines.

He was born in Lynn Grove, Kentucky on May 18, 1922 to the late Joel Alfred and Lottie Young Crawford. In addition to her parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Margaret Key Crawford; one sister, Josephine Crawford; one brother, Glenn Crawford.

He is survived one daughter, Victoria Crawford Lewis and husband Harold of Pearland, Texas; one sister, Annette Crawford of Sunnyvale California; one granddaughter, Kerri James Garrett and husband Todd of Pearland, Texas; two great grandchildren, Wesley Crawford Garrett and Margaret "Meg" Elizabeth Garrett; two sister-in-laws, June Paschall Crawford of Murray, Kentucky and Janet Key Humphries of Paris, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, November 2, 2014 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Tim Palmer and Rev. Kenny Locke will officiate with burial to follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the funeral home.
