Donna Kay Rayburn

Mrs. Donna Kay Rayburn, age 68, of Murray, Kentucky, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at her home.

Mrs. Rayburn was born in Murray, Kentucky on November 6, 1946. Mrs. Rayburn had taught elementary school in Paris, Tennessee and worked in sales at Jae Enterprises Inc. Mrs. Rayburn was a member of the Westside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Rayburn was preceded in death by her father, J.D. Murphy. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Rayburn of Murray, Kentucky to whom she married on August 11, 1972 in Benton, Kentucky; mother, Nelda Downs Murphy of Murray, Kentucky; and daughter, Jae Rayburn-Trimble and husband John of Paducah, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
