Donna C. Slone

Mrs. Donna C. Slone, age 85, of Murray, Kentucky, died Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at her home.
Mrs. Slone was born in Bangor, Maine on September 18, 1935, to the late Lindwood Bennett Currier and Ola Mae (Kidney) Currier. Mrs. Slone was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Slone was preceded in death by two sisters, Jackie Overbey and Marilyn Chamberlain.

Mrs. Slone is survived by her husband, Robert Slone of Murray, to whom she married on June 20, 1958, at the First Methodist Church in Presque Isle, Maine; one daughter, Linda Short and husband Scott of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Gene Slone of Madisonville, Kentucky; and one sister, Betty Hoyt and husband Floyd of Bangor, Maine.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Jim Stahler officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the memorial service on Sunday, April 18, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
