Donnie Gene Parker

Mr. Donnie Parker age 62, of Murray, Kentucky, died Sunday, September 15, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Parker was born in Murray, Kentucky on August 3, 1951 to the late Willie D. Parker and Kattie (Lax) Parker. Mr. Parker was a farmer and a member of the New Concord Church of Christ.
Mr. Parker is survived by his wife, Linda (Geurin) Parker of Murray, to whom he married on July 9, 1975; two daughters, Liz Thorn and husband Jimmy and Tammy Hobbs and husband Tim all of Murray; one brother, Tommy Parker and wife Martha of Murray; five grandchildren, Tyler Amos, Scottie Ruttman, Nick Thorn, Madison Hobbs and Parker Hobbs; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Ed Davis and Blake Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Hicks Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
