Donny W. Lyons

Mr. Donny William Lyons, age 63, of Murray, Kentucky died on Monday, February 8, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Lyons was born in Murray, Kentucky on February 9, 1952 to the late W.A. and Margaret Ann (Stevenson) Lyons. Mr. Lyons before retiring was the owner and operator of Lyons Electric in Murray as well as being a lifetime electrician. He was of the Baptist faith and had served in the National Guard.

Mr. Lyons is survived by two daughters, Courtney Lowery and husband Jerry of Reidland, Kentucky and Hilary Cunningham and husband Chris of Kirksey, Kentucky; one sister, Sheila Spiceland and husband Steve of Murray, Kentucky; as well as two grandchildren, Brooklyn Lowery and Cooper Cunningham.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
