Doris Clista Scarbrough

Mrs. Doris Clista Scarbrough, age 85, of Murray, Kentucky, died Saturday, April 09, 2016 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Mrs. Scarbrough was born in Calloway County on September 10, 1930 to the late Gus Enoch and Ethel James Enoch. She was a retired employee of K-Mart and a member of the Memorial Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Scarbrough was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo M. "Buddy" Scarbrough and ten siblings.

Survivors include one daughter, Susan S. Story and husband David of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Scott E. Scarbrough of Murray, Kentucky and James S. Scarbrough and wife Minda, of Murray, Kentucky; as well as five grandchildren, Jason Matthew Wright, Jacob Scarbrough, Clista Scarbrough, Levi Scarbrough and Joshua Scarbrough; and eleven step grand-children.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until funeral hour (1.00 p.m.) at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 13, 2016.
