Mrs. Dorothy L. Foster, age 86, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.
Mrs. Foster was born on April 3, 1935, in Thibodaux, Louisiana to the late Lonnie Rollison and Josephine Fakier Field. She was a homemaker and a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Murray, Kentucky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Foster.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Burcham and husband Ted of Dexter, Kentucky and Sherry Walters and husband Lloyd of Cordova, Tennessee; one son, Edward Foster and wife Karey of Heber Springs, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Justin A. Burcham, Kevin P. Burcham, Christopher S. Parker, Cameron L. Parker, Shaun D. Parker, Shannon Foster Bolton, and Myra Ravalli; as well as 12 great-grandchildren, Austin Burcham, Laynie Burcham, Caroline Burcham, Nicholai Burcham, CJ Parker, Charlie Parker, Josiah Bolton, Levi Bolton, Thomas Bolton, Trinity Mills, Emerson Ravalli, and Lathyn Ravalli.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Glenn Orr officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at the Memory Hill Cemetery on Germantown Road in Memphis, Tennessee.
