Dorothy Jean Higgerson

Mrs. Dorothy Jean Higgerson, age 80, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

Mrs. Higgerson was born in East Prairie, Missouri, on July 20, 1940, to the late Alvis Newton and Ella (Wilson) Newton. Mrs. Higgerson was a homemaker and a member of the Murray First Pentecostal Church.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. at the Murray First Pentecostal Church with Bro. Jon Casner officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., on Friday, June 4, 2021, at the Murray First Pentecostal Church. A graveside and burial will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mound Park Cemetery in New Madrid, Missouri.
