Dorothy Nell Lamb

Mrs. Dorothy Nell Lamb, age 80, of Murray, Kentucky, died Sunday, December 07, 2014 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Mrs. Lamb was s born in Calloway County, Kentucky on November 16, 1934 to the late Harmon and Vadie Adams Coursey. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, James C. Lamb; one son, Jimmie L. Lamb; two sisters, Rubena Clendenen and Carlene Coursey; one brother, Leon Coursey.

She is survived by three daughters, Shirley K. Lane of Murray, Kentucky, Carolyn F. Warner and husband Sam of Murray, Kentucky, Debbie G. Scott and husband Don of Benton, Kentucky; one son, Danny L. Lamb and wife Charla of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Billy Coursey and wife Joyce of Benton, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Tina Peery and husband Keith, Sonny Warner and wife Julie, Barbara Denhart and husband Lucus, Tracey Keeling, Lindsey Lamb, Brittany Lamb, Steffany Lamb and Bradley Lamb; nine great grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Bro Elijah Balentine will officiate.
