Dorothy Orr

Mrs. Dorothy Norsworthy Orr, age 83, of Murray, Kentucky died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
She was the former co owner of Rickman & Norsworthy Building Supplies for 17 years; she was a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church.
She was born in Calloway County, Kentucky September 4, 1928 to the late Ed and Lucy Johnson Rickman. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Norsworthy; second husband, Leon Orr; three sisters, Irene Pickard, Myrtle Cooper, and Ila Mae Huie; two brothers, Macon Rickman and Woodrow Rickman
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Pierceall of Murray, Kentucky; brother, Jimmy Rickman and wife Dot of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Jeanne' Carroll and Nikki Pierceall both of Murray, Kentucky; one great grandchild, Quinn Elise Colson of Murray, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Nemo Jackson of Murray, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, March 16, 2012 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. John Dale and Bro. Ryker Wilson will officiate with burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the funeral home.
