Dorothy Louise "Dot" Puckett

Mrs. Dorothy Louise "Dot" Griffin Puckett, 85, of Hardin, Kentucky died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mrs. Puckett was born in Murray, Kentucky on September 4, 1928 to the late Jack Griffin and Julia (Todd) Griffin. Mrs. Puckett was a homemaker and a member of the Temple Hill United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Puckett was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Lee Puckett, who died on February 5, 1995; one sister, Martha Herndon; and by one brother, Ben Griffin.
Mrs. Puckett is survived by two daughters, Teresa Rushing and husband Charles and Cynthia Kelso and husband Joe all of Almo, Kentucky; one sister, Mavis Lassiter of Cleburne, Texas; three grandchildren, Mike Kelso and wife Lee Ann of Benton, Kentucky, Becky Johnson and husband Mark of Ansbach, Germany and Julie Rushing of Almo, Kentucky; as well as three great grandchildren, Nathan Kelso of Benton, Kentucky and Jake and Sarah Johnson of Ansbach, Germany.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. David Stewart and Rev. Steve Howe officiating. Burial will follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
