Mr. Duane B. Vernot, age 54, of Murray, Kentucky formerly of Michigan, died on Tuesday, February 02, 2016 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital,
He was retired from Kenlake Foods after 22 years; he was a member of the Jeep Owners of Murray, Kentucky and the Kentucky Mountain Crawlers Club; he was a master mechanic and car enthusiasts.
He was born September 25, 1961 in Pontiac, Michigan to George Vernot and the late Beverly Arnett Vernot.
He was preceded in death by his mother Beverly Arnett Vernot.
He is survived by his father, George Vernot of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Jeremy Vernot of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Sandra Vernot Stalmack of Michigan and Lorrie Vernot Smith of Florida; one brother, John Vernot of Michigan; two nieces, Danielle Vernot Taylor and Kendra Vernot; one nephew, Lawrence Eli Smith.
Memorial services will be held 1:30 pm Saturday, February 6, 2016 in the OHV area of Turkey Bay in the Land Between the Lakes. Michael Potter will officiate.
