Earlene Cochrum Hopkins

Mrs. Earlene Cochrum Hopkins, age 88, of Murray, Kentucky died on Friday, June 05, 2015 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Mrs. Hopkins was born January 29, 1927 in Calloway County, Kentucky, to the late Charlie and Audie Richie Cochrum. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Flint Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Miller J. Hopkins; three sisters, Charlene Baker, Clellon Wilkerson, and Marelle Turner; three brothers, Cord, Taz, and Herman Cochrum.
Mrs. Hopkins is survived by two sons, Jack Hopkins and wife Ruth of Shelbyville, Kentucky, Mike Hopkins and wife Connie of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister, Mildred Farmer of Smysonia, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Larry Hopkins and wife Donita of Indianapolis, Lisa Skaggs and husband Chad of Greenwood, Indianan, Travis Hopkins of Indianapolis, Cory Hopkins of Indianapolis, and Erin Morsey of Louisville, Kentucky; four great grandchildren, Halley Lilley, Joslynn Skaggs, Summer Skaggs all of Greenwood, Indianan, Holly Hopkins of Indianapolis, Indianan; two great great grandchildren, Mayci McElfresh of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Emil Nasr of Louisville, Kentucky.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hopkins will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 8, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Cope officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
