Mr. Eddie Mastera, age 69, of Murray, Kentucky died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014 in Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.
Visitation services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014, from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Murray City Cemetery.
He was a member of the United States Army and retired from Tappan.
Born in Calloway County, Kentucky on October 11, 1944, Mr. Mastera was preceded in death by his father, Irving "Joe" Mastera, mother Nell Ruth Mastera, and one sister, Cindy Mastera Cypressi.
He is survived by his son, Edward Shane Mastera of Murray, Kentucky; son, L. Peyton Mastera, and wife, Sarah Powell Mastera of Dilworth, Minnesota; and grandson, Paxton Foster-Mastera.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Humane Society of Calloway County, PO Box 764, Murray, Kentucky 42071.
