Mrs. Edith Dibble, age 83, of Murray Kentucky, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 7:53 am at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
She was a retired secretary for Murray State University Public Safety, was also a graduate of Murray State University with an Associates of Business. Mrs. Dibble was a member of the First Christian Church of Murray, Ky. She was born May 31, 1927 in Bangor, Mi.
Survivors include her husband, Franklin H. Dibble of Murray, Ky. They married March 16, 1946 in South Haven, Mi., two daughters, Linda Haskins (Jack) of Paducah, Ky., Debbie Diers (Bob) of Hendersonville, Tn., two sons, Ralph Dibble (Robin) of Greenville, Ind., and Cliff Dibble of Murray, Ky., one sister, Norma Beall of Greenville, S.C., also eleven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Katie Zipse Whiteman, brother, Paul Whiteman.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, with Pastor Ruth Ragovin officiating, and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, February 25, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
