Ms. Edith "Edie" Turner, 53, of Murray, Kentucky died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Mrs. Turner was born September 9, 1959 in Dearborn, Mi., to Hezzie Turner and the late Gladys Irene Burnham Turner. She was a certified nurse's assistant, and a medical record file clerk with the Murray Calloway Co. Hospital for 35 years. She was also of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her father, Hezzie Turner of Murray, Ky., daughter, Dana Pace of Murray, son, Derek Pace and wife Kim of Murray, two sisters, Phyllis Turner, and Doris Sato both of Murray, one granddaughter, Allison pace also of Murray.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Irene Burnham Turner.
Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m., Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Elm Grove Cemetery, Rev. Brett Miles will officiate and burial will follow. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
