Edna Morrison

Mrs. Edna Morrison, 77, of Mt. Vernon, IL, formerly of Murray, died Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon.
She was a homemaker and was of the Church of Christ faith, born June 12, 1933 in Calloway Co., Ky.
She was survived by a daughter, Gail Bumpus (Steve) of Bonnie, Il., sister Reba Schroader of Almo, Ky., two brothers, Harold Hopkins of Murray, Ky., and Glenn Hopkins of Hardin ,Ky., two grandchildren, Jason Kuhn (Jenny) of Mt. Vernon, Il., Brian Kuhn (Jody) of McLeansboro, Il., one great grandson Jacob Kuhn of Mt. Vernon, Il.
Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by her husband, William Morrison, parents, Stanley and Mary Belle Childress Hopkins, sister, Mary Nell Fountain, brothers, Hersie, Bill, Charles, W.H., and Frank Hopkins.
Funeral service will be held Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home, with Bro. Paul Bogard officiating, and burial will be in the Jeffrey Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
